After having an incredibly disappointing experience at another local dealership, my wife and I left feeling frustrated and uncertain. We decided to stop by Honda of Bellingham, and from the moment we walked in, the difference was obvious. It truly felt like night and day. AK was fantastic. He took the time to listen to what we actually needed instead of trying to sell us something we didn’t want. He was patient, knowledgeable, and helped us find the perfect vehicles without ever making us feel pressured. During the process, Camille came out to introduce herself and walk us through what to expect with financing. She answered our questions, eased our concerns, and made us feel confident that we were making the right decision. When it came time to sign everything, Brian was just as great. He carefully explained each document, made sure we understood everything, and never rushed us through the process. At every step, we felt respected rather than pressured. We are first time car buyers and unfortunately had to make a decision in a pinch because our old car was no longer reliable. Overall very happy with our experience. 10/10 sales reps. Highly professional office staff. I'm leaving the above RCW because, for whatever reason, Honda seemed to be under the impression it was illegal to cancel service contracts and we got quite a bit of push back when we told them we wanted a refund. Rest assured, it is completely legal to cancel any of the ad ons they attempt to talk you into during contract signing. That said, do your homework first and understand what these offerings are. They might work for some folks. They just weren't for us. Still, offering up a 5 star rating because I blame my own ignorance for the mishap and the overall service at Honda was generally excellent.

Pretty good, I thought Donte was very professional and handled everything he could and then Pete took over and was also very professional. Thought we would get a little more on trade in as it was a low mileage highly popular car, but it was close enough for me to make the deal and we are very happy with our new car. Everything went smooth and quick and we never once felt pressured. Probably the best overall dealing that we’ve been through.

I was looking for awhile at a new civic and Michelle was AMAZING!! First off she’s real! Down to earth and beyond friendly. She won’t just ditch u either like a lot of sales people will when they have to go back and forth between the manager. We just sat and chatted . When it came time to sign papers there was someone in finance ahead of us so she gave us the option to go home since it would be about an hour. She texted me when it was our turn and paperwork took maybe 15 mins. Granted I had approval from own bank prior to going in. Truly though if you want a good salesperson that will treat you like you’re in there home when you are there get Michelle! I spent months searching for a specific truck. I knew exactly what I wanted, but I couldn’t find the right one locally. I even considered having one shipped until I found a truck in Puyallup, WA. Unfortunately, the price was extremely high, the sales tax rate was higher, and there were nearly $5,000 in additional fees. Then I came across a truck at Honda of Bellingham. I reached out and connected with a salesperson, Will, who immediately responded and went above and beyond by sending me multiple personalized videos of the truck since I wasn’t local. The level of customer service was outstanding and gave me complete confidence in the vehicle before making the trip. When they provided me with an offer, it absolutely blew the competition away—nearly $5,000 less than comparable trucks elsewhere, with no surprise fees or add-ons. Since she’s been driving an 07 minivan since she was diagnosed with pregnancy of twins 15+ years ago; my wife & I have been discussing the idea of getting her a nicer never non-minivan for a little while. Our online research recently turned into online tire-kicking and an actual vehicle search, as that can happen, and the search led us to an amazing 2021 Infiniti QX50 Autograph in Mocha Almond at Honda of Bellingham! I called the dealership, and Michelle Starkey took my call. She was SUPER helpful, kind, fun, knowledgeable and everything one calling from hundreds of miles away would hope to find on the other end of the line when car shopping! She answered all of my questions, filmed videos, took the car to a Nissan dealership for me, so Nissan people could check it out, and was instrumental in providing me with the confidence needed to purchase a vehicle sight unseen. I worked with Chris Chiba in the Finance Department and Office Manager Dawn Watts, and they were also super helpful, friendly and great in every way! Due to the greed of the state of Washington and all of their ridiculous policies and “need” to fund all kinds of nonsense with the $’s of hard-working Washingtonians; the State's Department of Revenue requires a ridiculous amount of proof that a person who does not live in Washington should be exempt from paying Washington sales tax. One of the forms they needed me to sign from my home in Idaho was one that acknowledged that I took (past tense) delivery of the vehicle. I wasn’t about to sign that, so I purchased a ticket to fly from Boise to SeaTac, where I would then get on a bus to Bellingham so I could take delivery of the vehicle the old-fashioned way (in-person & at the dealership). Anyway. Here (finally) is where things got dicey. I received a text from Michelle that asked me to call her when I had a minute. I had a hunch she may have had news for me that I wouldn’t like, and I was right! While the vehicle was being prepared for delivery, the windshield had been struck by something, and was broken! Yep. The amazing vehicle we had found with less than 16,000 miles on it that was now worth a little less than half of its original MSRP, now had a cracked windshield! I rode that bus all the way from SeaTac to Bellingham, believing there was a VERY good chance that the dealer would have no interest in covering the cost of that windshield, and that I would then not only be back to the drawing board with my vehicle search, but also need to find another way to get myself back home to Boise from Bellingham Washington! Michelle picked me up and she was kind and friendly and we had a very pleasant and enjoyable conversation. As I was getting out of her car at the dealership, I asked her how the conversation with management was going about the windshield, and what the plan was to make it right. She let me know that they planned to “take care of it”, but I still didn’t have any real details regarding how. While inside, Michelle introduced me to General Manager Charles Flakes. I had assumed the worst, and COMPLETELY expected Charles to maybe tell me he was sorry, but that there was no way they could cover the replacement of that windshield. To my surprise, & without hesitation, Charles asked me if I’d prefer a check to cover the cost of the windshield replacement after I returned home, or if I’d like them to just take the amount off of the price of the car! I couldn’t believe it, and wanted to hug the guy, but he was on the other side of the desk! I think he could tell I was surprised, elated and relieved, and simply stated that it was just the right thing to do. Wow (again)! It certainly was the right thing to do, but I sure didn’t expect that! I would not hesitate to recommend this one, hands down! You not only get to shop for a fine new or used Honda (or other solid pre-owned vehicles), but you also get to work with fine folks like Michelle, Chris, Dawn and Charles! Recently purchased a 2023 Mustang Mach-E Premium (Ext Rng) from Pete Davis. Made an appointment, drove up from Seattle, and got right into a test drive. Experience was pretty much all you could ask for: no strong sales push, pretty relaxed conversation leading up to "are you interested?" Pete made a real effort to meet my budget, despite the initial explanation that the prices were already set to what made sense for the market despite me paying with all cash. After haggling down twice with the manager, Pete managed to lock in a really amazing deal for a car with less than 11K miles. Overall, great experience and would recommend this dealer, with two small exceptions: - I was here for well over three hours. Some of that is test driving and negotiating, but it took almost two hours to complete the paperwork despite not needing a loan. - despite telling me they would not do a hard pull on my credit, I found out the next day that wasn't the case. Why would you need to check my credit score if I paid in cash? Would give five stars if it weren't for those two small exceptions. Still a great place to buy and very happy with the outcome!

Absolutely professional.. no high pressure sales tactics, prices very reasonable and not a lot of dealer add-ons to drive up the costs would definitely do business with them in the future.

The car buying experience at Honda of Bellingham was truly great. Michelle helped us, and when I say helped us, I mean she really knew what she was doing, she wasn’t pushy, she’s friendly, efficient, considerate of our time, and generally just a delight to do business with. We had an excellent experience working with Matt in Bellingham, WA while purchasing our used Honda HR-V. This was our first time buying a vehicle from a dealership and financing, so we had a lot of questions—and Matt was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. There was absolutely no pressure; he took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. He truly went above and beyond for us, and as we said our goodbyes, we ended the experience with a warm hug.
